Vintage Marc Sijan Wall Sculpture Art Nouveau with Mirror and Greek Columns

Rare find, a very beautiful wall sculpture by Marc Sijan!

Marc Sijan is a Milwaukee based artist well known for his super realistic human sculptures. This is a beautiful vintage wall sculpture by Sijan, suggestive of art nouveau design with Greek columns - a lady’s head at the top with two flowers, mirror in the middle, with the bottom design having an open circle.

The mirror is between the Greek columns. The material of the sculpture is low-fired ceramics. Sijan’s signature on lower right side. Original sticker from the artist’s studio on back of the mirror. Excellent condition no cracks or scratches.

Approximate measurements 15” x 9”, mirror is 5 ½” x 4 ¼” – circular opening approximately 2 ½” x 2 ½” - Raku like coloring: beige, cream, gray and at top peach and green. The finish is rustic as though it was just pulled from an old ruin. I suspect two small chips.
